Rust Converter is recommended for use on all rusted iron or steel surfaces prior to painting or repainting. In contact with rust it reacts with the iron oxides to form an insoluble blue-black complex, which binds together the rust, providing a good surface on which to apply a protective coating. It is a solution of an organic solvent, a highly purified reactive grade of tannic acid, along with other synthetic additives.
Ready for use in many applications such as vehicle chassis, marine vessels, gates, railings, agricultural equipment, plant machinery etc, or any other rusted surface which requires further corrosion protection. It is non-flammable, non-toxic and maybe brushed on, sprayed on or used in dip tanks. It should be applied to the surface with a hard brush to assist penetration. Surface treatment can be carried out on damp surfaces and during light drizzle.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations the customer has up to 14 days following receipt of the product in which to cancel and obtain a full refund including shipping costs. Please send back the products to our address (at your expense) and following receipt of the product by ourselves a full refund will be issued.
Refunds after the 14 day period will be considered only up to 28 days after shipment date. Again, please send the products back (at your expense) and a full refund will be issued. No refund will be considered after the 28 day period.
The cancellation rights do not apply to items that have been made to order.
Please note that we can only accept returns for re-stocking that are in original packaging, unworn or unused and are in a condition suitable for re-sale.
Damaged goods should be reported within 48hrs of receipt of item, once we have the goods back we will refund in full, repair or replace as necessary.
